About the project
Life for God Church is a project devoted to spiritual life and the human relationship with God. It brings together reading, study and reflection through Scripture, Christian mysticism and talks on inner transformation.
A space for spiritual reflection
At the heart of the project are questions we ask ourselves: how to live with awareness, what it means to love, how faith relates to personal experience, and how turning toward God changes our lives. These questions call for attention, honesty and time.
A book, talk or recording can offer an occasion to pause, listen and continue reflecting for yourself. The project welcomes both those who have long followed a spiritual path and those who are beginning to ask these questions.
The library
The library is built around The New Testament and the Sayings of Jesus, a study in 17 volumes. It includes reading translations, original Greek and Coptic texts, interlinear translations, comparisons and notes. You can read the New Testament as a continuous text and then explore the research materials for a particular passage.
A separate series, Forgotten Texts of Christian Mysticism, begins with The German Theology. Available in Russian and English, it offers a reading translation alongside the German text with a close translation and notes. Other books and series will be added over time.
Books can be read on the site or downloaded as PDFs. Sources and translation principles are described in the books themselves and in the study’s About the edition section.
Video talks
The video talks offer reflections on spiritual life, faith, inner transformation and the human relationship with God. They are sermon-like in character, addressing personal experience, conscience and the search for meaning. Scripture and the Christian tradition help illuminate these themes.
The first talks are in preparation. Videos will be hosted on YouTube and available to watch here. The text of each talk will be available to read on the site and download as PDF or TXT. When an audio version is available, a link will lead to it in the audio library.
The audio library
The audio library will bring together recordings of spiritual talks and audiobooks. You will be able to listen on the site or download them to revisit while traveling, walking or spending quiet time at home.
The first recordings are still in preparation. Audiobooks can be organized into chapters. Where a recording has a text or video version, links to those materials will appear alongside it.
Read, watch and listen
The project is developing in Russian and English. The library, video talks and audio library share a common navigation, making it easy to choose a format and return to a subject in another form.
Begin with a book or subject that speaks to you. There is no need to explore every research layer at once: continuous reading, attentive listening and personal reflection each have a place here.
