1. Before paying
The price, currency, scope of service and whether a payment is one-time or recurring are shown before confirmation. Payments go through PayPal; card details are entered with the payment provider. Check the final amount in PayPal, including any displayed currency conversion or fees charged by your bank.
These rules cover offers available for purchase when you check out. A prepared but disabled plan is not an active offer. For purchase questions, use the Life for God contact form. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy also apply.
2. Companion questions
The current one-time pack provides 500 additional questions for $3 USD. It is tied to your account, does not renew automatically and has no expiry date. Available free questions are used first; purchased questions remain available beyond the free daily, hourly and shared limits.
One successfully completed request uses one question. A recorded technical failure releases its reservation. If an answer was generated but the connection failed during delivery, the system may count the request as completed: contact us if you did not receive the answer. Resending does not guarantee recovery of the original response.
A purchase does not remove message-length limits, sequential processing requirements or possible temporary outages. If a paid feature closes before the purchased service is provided, we will refund the unprovided portion; no expiry date is not a promise that the site will operate forever.
3. Workshop and extra packages
A monthly subscription provides the allowance shown for the selected plan. Its monthly allowance relates to the paid period. Extra packages are purchased separately with a one-time payment; unused extras roll over between months and remain available after subscription cancellation. A Workshop package covers one sermon and includes up to 30 AI requests.
Cancelling a subscription does not delete saved texts or prevent manual editing. Free account features remain available. Check whether an offer is for Workshop or Companion: these are different paid entitlements.
4. Monthly payments and cancellation
For subscriptions and monthly project support, the first payment is collected when you confirm in PayPal; subsequent payments recur monthly until cancelled. The amount and frequency are shown before you agree.
Stop future charges on the subscription management page, where available for your purchase, or in PayPal's automatic payment settings. Cancel before the next charge and check the cancellation confirmation. Contact the editors if there is an error. Deleting an account or cookies does not itself cancel a PayPal payment agreement.
Cancelling renewal does not automatically refund a previous payment. Access for a paid period continues until that period ends unless the payment is refunded or otherwise reversed. Refund eligibility is considered separately under the section below and applicable law.
5. Gifts and project support
Gift access for the stated term is paid for once, with no automatic renewal for the giver or recipient. Its term begins on activation. If the recipient already has the relevant access, a gift may be converted into extra packages; the result is displayed before activation. Keep the code private: sharing it gives the recipient the ability to claim the gift.
One-time project support is a voluntary payment of the selected amount, not a purchase of questions or a subscription unless the page explicitly says otherwise. Monthly support repeats until cancelled. We do not promise tax deductibility or represent the payment as a donation to an organisation with a special tax-exempt status.
Free invitations, project gifts and promotional credits have no cash refund value because the recipient made no payment for them.
6. Delivery and payment problems
Entitlements are added after the provider confirms payment. Payment review may take time; a pending message does not establish a final charge or successful delivery. Keep your order reference. If you were charged but access or questions have not appeared, refresh the purchase page and then contact us. Do not pay again merely to resolve a delay.
7. Refunds
For duplicate or incorrect charges, we will check the transaction and correct the error, including refunding an excess payment. If a paid service has not been provided and we cannot resolve the problem, the amount for the unprovided portion will be refunded.
If you change your mind before using a one-time pack or activating a paid gift, contact us to request cancellation and a refund. Once a pack is used, a gift activated or a paid period started, a full refund is not automatic: we consider what was provided, the unused balance, the circumstances and mandatory legal requirements. Requests concerning mistaken project-support payments are also reviewed by the editors.
Approved refunds use the original payment method where the provider permits. Arrival time depends on PayPal and your bank. Entitlements associated with a refunded or reversed payment may be withdrawn. We will explain the effect on access and remaining credits.
These rules do not restrict mandatory consumer rights, any applicable withdrawal rights, remedies for missing or defective services, or the ability to raise a case with PayPal or your bank. We do not require you to waive those rights.
8. How to contact us
Use the editorial contact form with the subject “Payment or refund”, your order or transaction reference, date, amount, explanation and an email for a reply. Include your username if the purchase belongs to an account. Do not send your passphrase, recovery code, full card number or card security code.
The revision date appears at the top of this page. Changes do not cancel obligations for an existing paid purchase. If checkout information and these rules differ, tell us so we can check the conditions displayed for your transaction.
